Perimenopause/Menopause Support
Perimenopause and menopause are often described in primarily physical terms, but for many this transition also brings emotional, cognitive, and identity shifts that can feel disorienting or unexpected. This stage of life can include changes in mood, anxiety levels, sleep, energy, sense of self, and relationship dynamics. For some, it may also bring up older emotional patterns or unresolved stress responses that feel intensified during this transition.
I provide trauma-informed support for help navigating this stage especially those feelings of emotional overwhelm, anxiety, irritability, disconnection, or a sense of not feeling like yourself. This work is not about pathologizing this transition, but about creating space to understand and move through it with greater clarity, stability, and self-awareness.
Our work together may include:
-
Emotional support during hormonal transition
-
Navigating anxiety, mood changes, or overwhelm
-
Processing identity shifts and life-stage changes
-
Support with sleep disruption and emotional regulation
-
Understanding how past experiences may be activated during this phase
-
Navigating conversations with medical providers and care options
The goal of this work is to help you feel:
-
More grounded in your body
-
More emotionally steady
-
More connected to yourself
-
More supported through this transition
